As part of the UK Visa application process, Bangladeshi students must take a TB Test in order to meet the UK visa requirements. The TB Test Guideline states that applicants must be tested at an approved medical centre in Bangladesh.
The first step is to find an approved TB Test Centre near you. The British High Commission has accredited 2 TB Test Centres in Bangladesh for UK visa applications. You can find an up-to-date list of these centres on their official website.

How to make an appointment for the TB test?
The first step to make an appointment is to contact the TB Test Center. You can do this either by calling one of the following numbers: +880 171 306 6230, +880 173 030 9825, +880 132 282 1860 or +880 132 282 1861.
The booking number is open from Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Alternatively, you can also email the TB Test Centre at DhakaHA@iom.int. or visit the clinic.

Required Documents for TB Test

How much does a TB test cost?

All fees must be paid in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) directly at the TB test center. The US dollar amount will be converted to Bangladeshi Taka based on the IOM official exchange rate. This cost of the test is in addition to the visa application fee.
TB test fee refund policy:
It is important to note that the TB test fee is non-refundable in the event that a person tests positive for TB, chooses not to travel to the UK, or their visa is refused.
Additionally, the fee does not cover treatment in the event that the individual already has TB prior to testing.
*All children will need to initially have a certificate which will be issued after a questionnaire and physical exam. If there is any indication of TB, a chest X-ray will be conducted along with other follow-up tests.
